ISF Distributes “Essential Bag” Flood Aid For Employees affected by Malaysia’s Worst Flood in Recent YearsTorrential downpours beginning mid-December connected with the 2021 Pacific Typhoon season have caused the worst flood in Malaysia in recent years, triggering flash floods across Peninsular and East Malaysia resulting in widespread damages and has thus far displaced an estimated 70,000 people.
In the wake of reaching out to the flood victims which included ISF’s employees in the Port Klang and Dengkil sites, a total of 150 Essential Bags each consisting of food, drinks, clothes, slippers, and toiletries were arranged by the ISF Management and distributed to the affected employees respectively.
“On behalf of the ISF Management, we express our deepest sympathies to our employees who are affected by the flash floods that have caused property damage and emotional disturbance to many.” ISF CEO Takashi Ishigami said. “These Essential Bags serve to meet our affected colleagues’ needs in Dengkil and Port Klang during this difficult time. We wish for the health and safety of all victims and their families.”
ISF extends our thoughts to everyone affected by the floods and wishes for the wellbeing and strength of everyone to pull through this tragedy.
