ISF Conducts 2nd Materiality Assessment Workshop with HelikoniaHelikonia conducting the materiality workshop for ISF participants.
ISF participants discuss material topics to prioritise for the near future.
ISF conducted its 2nd Materiality Assessment Workshop on 12th January 2023 with Helikonia, ISF’s consultant for sustainability reporting. The workshop was conducted for the upcoming sustainability reporting for 2022. Participants from ISF Port Klang and Dengkil attended the workshop, consisting of management representatives across various ISF departments.
ISF’s first materiality assessment was conducted in 2019 since our inaugural Sustainability Report to identify and prioritise material issues such as food quality and safety, policies, governance, innovation, and many more. ISF concentrates on the issues that are most relevant – or ‘material’ – for our business as well as stakeholders. The assessment involves surveys and interviews with ISF employees, extensive consultation with stakeholders and collaboration partners, ongoing feedback from clients, and some additional desk-based analysis.
The insights gained from the assessment can then be used to guide strategy and communication toward the companies’ renewed priorities and targets. Outputs from the workshop will be combined into a renewed materiality matrix and published in our upcoming 2022 Sustainability Report.
