Certification Is Key
ISF’s operational and quality control systems are designed to provide our customers with products and services of consistently high quality.
Our products and processing methods regularly undergo third party audits and supervision to ensure compliance with certifications. Standards and regulations in a sustainable environment.

Environment Management System
1ISO 14001:2015
One of the international standards for Environmental Management Systems under the ISO14001 family. It establishes a framework to measure and mitigate the environmental impacts of an organization and its external stakeholders, mainly on enhancing and achieving environmental objectives and fulfilling compliance obligations.

Quality Management
System
1ISO 9001:2015
Quality Management Systems set out the criteria based on several quality management principles to provide customers with quality products and services. Aligned with ISF's values, the system aims to enhance customer satisfaction and improve its process while conforming to statutory and regulatory requirements.

Food & Feed Safety Management System
1FSSC 22000
This scheme possesses certifications for Food Safety Management Systems (FSMS) or a combination with Quality Management Systems (FSMS-Quality). By meeting the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), the scheme is accepted by global food industry standards, including worldwide Accreditation Bodies and essential stakeholders.
2GMP
GMP certification enhances customers’ confidence in an organisation's food safety management systems, which entails minimum common sense sanitary and processing requirements. The scheme is implemented with other quality and food safety management systems, including HACCP, ISO 22000 (Food Safety Management), Safe Quality Food (SQF), and ISO 9001.
3HACCP
Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) is a system that identifies, evaluates, and controls hazards that are significant for food safety.
It is an internationally recognized system for reducing the risk of safety hazards in food.
4GMP + Feed Safety
In keeping with the practice of producing safe animal feed using our processing residues, the GMP+ certification integrates GMP with HACCP to demonstrate the contribution of safe feed. The certification ensures compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements relating to customers and feeds safety.

Sustainability
1RSPO SCCS
The globally-recognised certification scheme for sustainable palm oil. Since 2011, our Malaysia-based operations have been certified against the RSPO Supply Chain Certification System (SCCS), which means that the products we process, trade, and sell are certifiably sustainable under the scheme. We actively encourage our customers to source our fully-segregated RSPO-certified palm oil, which means that certified oil is processed and stored physically separate from conventional oil and that we are in a position to trace our products to origin.
2MSPO SCCS
The Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) is a nationally mandated certification system in Malaysia for oil palm plantations, independent and organised smallholders, and palm oil processing facilities. The standards and requirements established comply more with Malaysia's national legislations. Both of our Malaysian-owned facilities achieved MSPO SCCS certification in 2019.

Product Certification System
1Halal
This certification means that the product and its production methods (including raw materials, ingredients, processing equipment, other handling equipment for the manufacturing process) adheres to the Islamic law (Shariah Law) requirements. This demonstrates the organisation's compliance with national and international standards while respecting specific customs.
2Kosher
Kosher Certification is the stamp of kosher approval by a rabbinic Agency verifying the products' ingredients, production facility and the processing derivatives, tools, and machinery have no trace of non-kosher substances. The Kosher-certified symbol assures consumers that both the actual product and its production adhere to all Kosher Law requirements. Similar to the Halal certification, it demonstrates the commitment to respect the specific customs of customers.
3USDA & EU Organic
This is a certification process for producers of organic food and other organic agricultural products, where any businesses directly involved in food production can be certified. Different countries involve a set of production standards and requirements. ISF maintains certifications of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Organic and (European Union) Organic, two globally recognised organic certification standards.
1FDA Food Facility Registration
Being a foreign food manufacturer having trading relations with the United States, we are registered with the FDA food facility to ensure compliance with FDA regulations concerning safe human and animal consumption in the United States. This is also to prevent potential threats to the U.S. food supply and other food-related emergencies.
2SEDEX
We are a member of SEDEX (Supplier Ethical Data Exchange), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to driving improvements in responsible and ethical business practices in global supply chains. SEDEX is a platform for sharing ethical, social, and environmental practices consistently.
